Come on. Didn't you guys use enough Red and Black paint from the Spawn serieses 24, 25, and 26?????
I held my breath with Reborn 3 and got fairly excited when I saw the black and purples of Redeemer 2 reborn as the Angel of Death.
Steve, Dion, Jon..... please PLEASE try to convince Todd to do something other than Red and Black on Reborn 4.

If you look back at some of the CLASSIC repaints... it's almost as if they went "Oh WAIT!!!" and came up with a paint scheme BETTER than the original.
Dark Ages with the metallic paints? The awesome blues and silvers of the 12" Mandarin? The often overlooked Indian from Series 8 with the half white, half black warpaint? Hell, the Series 17 and Viking R3's are damn near COMPLETELY new figures with only minimal changes but DRASTIC repaints.
It's not like I'm expecting a caped spawn to be painted like Drau's American custom.... but Viper King and Blood Axe have SOOOO many cool details that can be metallic color. Best thing about the Reborn ones is that the simple black foundation will be easier to use for customs.

i completely agree with you. the only one i really like is viper king. the rest just look boring. and when you put them all together as a series they will look even more blah hanging on the pegs. i dont think any of these are better or even equal to the originals and if they cant make them better than why bother
STOP doing figs that were released recently...
i dont mind have recent figures redone. hell back in the day every line got a whole repaint line so this aint nearly as bad as that. so i think its kind of nice to get a repaint of a figure who never had a repaint before. but they need to make them exciting
